A unique, fun-filled dance class focusing on the classic musicals from the 20th century, specifically for adults who want slower paced, Hollywood-style dancing!
Starting with a thorough warm-up based on Broadway jazz and ballet exercises, we learn fun routines inspired by the Golden Age movie musicals.
Designed for adults of all ages, beginners or experienced, following the Silver Swans principles of adult learning. Please wear suitable footwear such as light trainers, jazz shoes or ballet shoes.
Dance the Golden Age Musicals occasionally runs on Zoom as a special event. No musical theatre dance experience necessary. Please see Terms and Conditions for information about dancing on Zoom.
Teaching Silver Swans is a joy I look forward to every week. There is a sense at the end of each class that everyone has accomplished something unexpected, no matter the level of dance experience or age. Who could ask for anything more?
